Accommodations around Valley Forge Park

Hotels:

There are hotels very close to the park. However, I think the best ones are the following:

Holiday Inn Express: This one is at the Mall Blvd. entrance, about a mile from the park. It's situated overlooking a major highway at the turnpike entrance, but it's close to everything.

Fairfield Inn: Located on Mall Blvd. across from the King of Prussia Mall. Nice place and reasonable rates.

Comfort Inn: Located just next to the Fairfield Inn on Mall Blvd. This is a newly renovated hotel. Also just a mile from the park, and right across from the King of Prussia Mall.

Motel 6: Located at the intersection of two very busy highways. Might be noisy, but the price is right. About a mile and a half from the park.

Best Western: Located just in front of Motel 6. This one sits at the intersection of some heavily traveled highways.

Valley Forge Scanticon: I know very little about this one, except that it sits less than a half-mile from the park. It is used mainly as a conference hotel. It overlooks a major highway, but sits well back from the traffic.

Radisson: This hotel is right beside Scanticon and the Valley Forge Convention Center. Close to the park, but I know nothing good about it.

Sheraton Inn: Classy, and priced accordingly. Half a mile from the park. Overlooks a busy turnpike toll area, but I've heard it's quiet. Pricey.

B&Bs:

The Manor House: Really lovely B&B with very reasonable rates. Located two blocks behind Phoenixville Hospital off Rte. 23 West.

Morning Star Bed & Breakfast: A charming inn located on Rte. 23 west of the Park. Lovely rooms.

Coddington House: Beautiful surroundings. Farm country close to everything! Take Rte. 23 West to Whitehorse Road/Pike. Follow south to the B&B.

The Great Valley House: A few miles from the park, this beautiful house offers some lovely decor, as well as free high-speed Internet access.

Camping:

Unfortunately, the area is quite suburban and camping options are limited. If you're willing to travel, you can find a few camping areas within 10 miles.

West Chester/Philadelphia KOA: If you're planning to split your vacation time between Lancaster County and Valley Forge, this could be a great location, as it's within driving distance to both areas.

Warwick Woods: A lovely 100-acre campground located approximately 25-30 miles from the park (I'm estimating - it's a few turnpike exits from where you need to be).
